Last week my frens and I, and my bf too, had an outing to Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam. This place is known by many names. It’s also called Bukit Cahaya, and Taman Pertanian Shah Alam. To get in we had to pay an entry fee of RM3 for adults. The park is huge (one of the largest tropical rainforest and agricultural park in the world). Met up at 9am and grabbed some breakfast and all the way down to Shah Alam for this cycling trip. I was expecting to do a lot of cycling, walking up and down the hills and all. My *ss hurt so much from the cycling..hehehehee... and oh! Kaki jugak :p
There are many gardens in this park amongst which are the Spice Garden, Ornamental Garden, Orchid Garden, Cactus Garden, Bamboo Garden and Mushroom Garden. Bicycles are available for rent at the park while free bus service is provided to ferry visitors to various spots within the park. We walked towards the Four Seasons House. It costs RM3 for adults to enter. It was autumn and we enjoyed ourselves feeling all cold and taking photos.
There is an observation tower near the lake. Be careful when you use it as some of the planks are not in their place. Paddy field is found here, so are cocoa trees, oil palm, rubber trees, coffee, coconut and other fruit trees...dan byk lagi! Selepas 4 jam berbasikal dan da abes round kat sana, baru la kami pulangkan semula beskal2 tersebut...seorg dikenakan bayaran sebyk rm8. Ok la tu sgt worth it. Selesai segalanya, kami pun pulang laa ke jalan masing2..Otw home, baru la terasa betapa besarnya Bukit Cerakah tu, terasa sangat penat, dan lapar dan sakit2 badan...oh! dan sunburn juge! Haisk! :p

The operating hours of the park is 830am to 430 pm, Tuesdays to Sundays.
The entrance fees to the park are RM3 for adult 12 years and above. RM1 for children 4 to 11 years old. Bicycle rental: RM3 and RM5 for 1 hour.
Bring your loved ones there, it is the best place to spend time together!
